Free offline screens for streams
Says you’re not live right now, with your accounts underneath so people can follow. Use it as a scene while the stream is up but you’re not, or take a screenshot of it in OBS for your channel’s offline banner.
What you can change
- The message and the line under it
- Your social links
- A clock with the current time
- Background, fonts, colors and atmosphere
In every style
One in each of the 14 styles, and each style has a whole matching set. Pick one to open it in the editor.
Add it to OBS in two steps
- 1Open one above and change anything: the words, colors, fonts and size. Add your name and channels once under Your stream and they fill in by themselves.
- 2Click Add to OBS and drag the button onto your OBS preview. OBS adds it as a browser source at the right size.
Not using OBS, or dragging doesn’t work? The setup guide covers adding it by hand.
Questions
- What size is it?
- 1920 by 1080, the same as a full HD stream, which is also the size Twitch recommends for an offline banner.
- Can I show my schedule on it?
- Add the schedule overlay in the same style on top of it in OBS. Today’s stream lights up on its own.
- Is it really free?
- Yes. Every template is free to use and change, with no account, no watermark and nothing to install. Your settings live in the overlay’s own link.
- Does it work outside OBS?
- Yes. It’s a web page, so it works in any app with a browser source: Streamlabs Desktop, Meld, XSplit and others. Add a browser source with the link and the size the editor shows.
