Free lower thirds for OBS
A title banner across the bottom that says what’s on: the game, the song or today’s plan. It can stay up the whole time or slide in now and then, stay a while and leave.
What you can change
- A small tag like “Now playing”, a title and a second line
- An icon: controller, music note, microphone and more
- All the time, or every few minutes for a set number of seconds
- Width, fonts, colors and how it enters
In every style
One in each of the 14 styles, and each style has a whole matching set. Pick one to open it in the editor.
Add it to OBS in two steps
- 1Open one above and change anything: the words, colors, fonts and size. Add your name and channels once under Your stream and they fill in by themselves.
- 2Click Add to OBS and drag the button onto your OBS preview. OBS adds it as a browser source at the right size.
Not using OBS, or dragging doesn’t work? The setup guide covers adding it by hand.
Questions
- Can it show up only now and then?
- Yes. Choose now and then, set how often it comes back and how long it stays.
- Does it show the song I’m playing automatically?
- No. You type what it says, so it works for any game, song or topic.
- Is it really free?
- Yes. Every template is free to use and change, with no account, no watermark and nothing to install. Your settings live in the overlay’s own link.
- Does it work outside OBS?
- Yes. It’s a web page, so it works in any app with a browser source: Streamlabs Desktop, Meld, XSplit and others. Add a browser source with the link and the size the editor shows.
